Over the past three years I have been working toward a PhD in Psychology.  I became involved in ReproducibiliTea at the end of the first year of my PhD.  Since then, I have been trying to learn more about the complex issues surrounding research reproducibility and the open science movement. I have also been trying to implement practices that promote research reproducibility into my own research, for example, by pre-registering my systematic review, uploading data sets to an open data repository with clear documentation, and clearly separating hypothesis-driven and exploratory analyses when writing up my research.  I am particularly interested in how to improve the reproducibility of data analysis in R and have been investigating tools and packages that facilitate this including β€˜renv’, β€˜fertile’, and R projects.
